A sturdy lace up boot with a matte faux leather upper and heavy stitching left visible along every seam, so the panels of the shoe read as separate pieces. Metal eyelets run in two rows up the front and carry a round lace that pulls the shaft closed over the instep and holds the foot in place. The shaft rises above the ankle and is padded around the collar, with a pull loop stitched at the back. Underneath sits a chunky lug sole in moulded rubber, deep enough to raise the foot clear of wet ground, with a heavy cleated tread that wraps up over the toe bumper.
