This dress is made from a lightweight chiffon printed with a soft scattered floral, lined through the body so it moves freely without being see through. A round neckline is edged with a narrow ruffle trim, and a short button placket runs along the centre of the bodice. The long sleeves are sheer and airy, falling loosely to the wrist. At the waist a band of elastic smocking stretches to fit and holds the shape in place, and below it the skirt falls in flowing tiers to a hem at the floor. The fabric has a light, fluid handle that catches the air with every step.
