This dress is made from a light chiffon lined through the body, with a soft drape that floats away from the skin. The V neckline crosses over at the front, and the loose kimono style sleeves fall wide to the elbow. An elastic waist gathers the fit comfortably, and a self-tie belt in the same fabric fastens at the waist to define the middle. Below, the skirt is built from ruffled layers that cascade into a hi-lo hem, sitting at mid calf in front and dropping toward the ankle at the back. It slips on without fastenings and the layers move softly with every step.
