Light striped poplin with a crisp hand carries this blouse, the stripes running vertically and staying straight through the gathers. The neckline is cut high and gathered onto a band, with an opening at the centre and two long ties that knot at the throat or hang loose. Sleeves are full and puffed from the shoulder, gathered again into a ribbed cuff at the wrist. Buttons run down the centre front from the neckband to the hem, and the body is cut with gentle ease through the waist.
