Chunky ribbed knitting in broad horizontal stripes builds the whole of this jumper, the raised columns catching across each colour change. The crew neckline is finished in a firm rib that stands slightly away from the throat. Both sleeves balloon out generously from the shoulder and hold their volume down the arm before closing at the wrist. At the bottom a short rib band draws the body in, which lifts the hem to sit higher than the waist. The result is a compact top with the weight concentrated in the sleeves.
