A knit jacket worked in a medium gauge yarn with a full length metal zip running from hem to chin. The body is a deep, even base shade, broken by narrow jacquard stripes in bright contrast tones that band across the chest and repeat around both sleeves, so the pattern reads clearly from the front and the side. The collar stands up as a funnel that closes right to the top of the zip when it is pulled all the way, and the cuffs and hem are worked in a close rib that holds the shape in. The sleeves are set with a straight line at the shoulder and the body hangs with a little ease through the waist.
