Horizontal stripes are worked in jacquard through this jumper, with fine contrast flecks scattered along the bands so the pattern reads with more texture than a plain stripe would give. The crew neckline is bound in a close rib. Shoulder seams drop onto the upper arm, which softens the line and gives extra room through the armhole. The sleeves run long to ribbed cuffs and a matching band closes the hem, keeping the closed stitch body from spreading at the bottom.
