Look at the back of this knee height boot and you will find a long ribbon threaded through the shaft and tied in a bow, which draws the soft faux leather into gentle gathers all the way up. Loosen the ribbon and the shaft relaxes; pull it in and the gathers tighten against the calf. The faux leather itself is supple, so those folds sit naturally rather than buckling. The toe is round, the lift comes from a low built in wedge of around 3 cm rather than a separate heel, and the sole is a slim rubber base. Three colours: black, red and white.
