A plain jumper knitted in a soft marled yarn, with a smooth even stitch running through the body and sleeves and no pattern to break the surface. The round neckline is finished with a ribbed band that sits close to the neck, and the shoulders are set just past the natural line so the sleeve head falls lightly onto the arm. Long sleeves run straight to deep ribbed cuffs. The hem is worked in a matching rib and opens into a short split at each side seam, which lets the jumper sit easily over trousers rather than gripping at the hip.
