Heavy plaited cables run in relief down the fronts and the back of this long cardigan, worked in a thick yarn that gives the piece real substance in the hand. The neckline opens in a V, and oversized buttons run down the front edge on a knitted band. Two pockets are set into the fronts at hip height with the openings bound to stop them stretching. The sleeves are long, and rib closes both the cuffs and the hem so the length hangs straight rather than flaring.
