A jumper knitted in a thick plaited stitch with broad ribbed columns, cut with a wide boat neckline that slips off the shoulder and sits across the top of the arm. Horizontal black stripes band the body at regular intervals and carry through onto the sleeves. The neckline is edged with a ribbed collar that keeps the opening from dropping too far, and the sleeves are gathered at the head for volume through the upper arm before running long to the wrist. A deep ribbed band closes the hem, drawing the heavier knit in and keeping the body from spreading.
