Somewhere between a shirt and a light jacket, this flannel piece is cut oversized with a dropped shoulder and a loose, boxy line, in a large-scale check. It has a pointed shirt collar and a plain placket with six metal buttons, and it can be worn open over a vest or closed. Two chest pockets with flaps sit one on each side. The long sleeves end in shirt cuffs that fold back or hang open, and the hem is curved, longer at the sides and back than at the front, at hip length.
