A longline check teddy coat in a thick double sided pile, with a large, bold check across the body, sleeves and collar. It has a small pointed shirt collar that lies flat, and fastens with a single row of five round horn look buttons from the chest to the upper thigh. Two patch pockets without flaps sit at the hips. The shoulders are dropped and the sleeves are wide and relaxed, ending in plain cuffs. There is no padding and no quilting; the loose cut falls straight to the knee, roomy enough to wear over a chunky jumper.
