A jumper knitted in a close rib that runs vertically through the body, holding the shape in against the waist while still giving as it moves. The neckline is cut into a V and edged with a narrow strip of fine lace that follows both sides to the point, laid flat against the knit so it reads as a finish rather than a frill. The sleeves are worked in an open stitch that forms a column of small diamonds from the shoulder to the wrist, letting light through the arm and softening the density of the rib. The cuffs and hem return to a plain close rib that anchors both ends.
