A knitted cardigan striped in two warm tones that alternate in even bands from the shoulder to the hem and repeat along the sleeves. The cuffs and hem break away from the stripe and are worked in a solid contrast shade, which closes the pattern off neatly at each edge, and at the wrist the knit opens into a soft frill that flares out past the cuff and moves with the arm. The front fastens on a plain placket with small buttons, the neckline is finished with a narrow band that follows the round of the collarbone, and the body is cut straight with a light ease through the waist.
