Broderie anglaise cotton with cut-out flowers and circles is used for the whole of this shirt, front, back and sleeves. It has a classic pointed collar and a full row of about eight small buttons running to the hem, plus a flat chest pocket on the left with no flap. The long sleeves carry a tab with a button so they can be rolled and held at the forearm, and they end in a buttoned cuff. The fit is loose and relaxed, the hem is straight with the slightest curve, and the length sits at the hip.
