Two pieces make up this set. The top is cut short and crosses over at the front, one panel passing over the other and fastening with a slim self tie that wraps to the waist and knots at the side. Its long sleeves widen steadily from the elbow into an open flare, and the fine elastic rib holds close to the body between the deep neckline and the cropped hem. The trousers sit high on the waist, gathered onto a drawcord channel, and fall from the hip in a heavy fluid drape that keeps a wide straight leg all the way to the floor length hem.
