Thick stocking stitch in a matt yarn gives this jumper an even heavy surface with no shine at all. The boat neckline is cut very wide, wide enough that it slides across and rests on the shoulder rather than sitting at the base of the neck. Sleeves are exceptionally roomy through the whole arm, hanging in folds from a dropped shoulder before meeting a broad ribbed cuff. A deep rib band closes the hem, gathering the weight of the body into a defined line at the hip.
