Raised cables run in plaited columns down the front of this jumper and carry on through both sleeves, so the relief covers the whole piece rather than sitting in one panel. The yarn is thick and the stitch is dense, which gives real weight in the hand. A ribbed crew neckline finishes the top, and the sleeves are gathered into a soft puff at the shoulder before following the arm to a close ribbed cuff. The same rib closes the hem, holding the heavy body in a straight line at the hip.
