Vertical cables run the length of this cardigan, standing in relief against the flat ground of the knit. There are no buttons on the front. Instead the two panels cross over each other into a deep V at the chest and are held by a knitted belt that wraps around and ties at the waist, so the closure can be pulled tight or left loose. The collar continues as a wide band around the crossover. Ribbed cuffs and a ribbed hem finish the heavy knit and stop the edges from stretching out.
