Soft light knitting in a closed plain stitch runs through the whole of this jumper, smooth to the touch with almost no surface texture. The V neck is cut deep and bound in a wide band of rib that lies flat and holds the opening in shape. Sleeves are generous through the upper arm and taper only slightly, ending in a ribbed cuff that gathers the fabric in. The same rib closes the hem in a narrow band, and the body between the two falls in an easy line that skims rather than grips the waist.
