A short cardigan knitted in a soft, lightly brushed yarn that has a velvety handle against the skin. The body is cropped to sit at the natural waist, so the hem lands above the hip rather than over it, and the shape stays close without pulling. Around the neckline, the cuffs and the hem the knit changes to a contrast rib in a pale creamy tone, which frames the deeper body colour and marks each edge clearly. The front opens on a straight placket with plain buttons running the full length, and the sleeves are set with a natural shoulder line and taper gently towards the ribbed cuffs.
