Contrast topstitching runs along those joins in a visible running stitch, which outlines every block and adds a hand finished look. The sleeves are gathered at the shoulder into a soft puff that settles into the rib further along the arm. The neckline is cut into a V that follows the button placket, and the hem is worked in a deeper rib that pulls the heavy knit in at the hip.
