This longline cardigan is worked in a mid weight knit with big hearts formed from raised bobble stitch, scattered across the front, back and both sleeves in a mottled khaki yarn. The front is left open with no buttons, so it hangs loose over a jumper or top and can be gathered closed by hand for extra warmth. The dropped shoulder gives the sleeve a relaxed, roomy shape that narrows into a ribbed cuff at the wrist, and the cardigan runs long, reaching towards the thigh for good coverage. The bobble stitch adds real texture you can feel as well as see, standing slightly proud of the surrounding knit. An easy, comfortable layer for the colder months, it works well over trousers or a longer top.
