A short coat cut from a firm bonded cloth with a smooth face on both sides, so the edges sit clean without any bulk. The collar is a rounded shirt style that folds flat across the back of the neck and can be worn open or closed to the top button. The front fastens with a single row of buttons along the centre front, and two patch pockets are stitched onto the body at hip height with bar tacked corners. Long sleeves are set in at the shoulder and finish with a plain turned edge, while the straight hem falls just below the hip. A smooth lining runs through the body and the sleeves.
